As Creative Director for Feast and Field — a platform from news media company Lee Enterprises — I led the visual storytelling of a weekly digital magazine that celebrated food, farming, and community stories from across the country.
I worked closely with a curated network of writers, photographers, and videographers, sourcing talent and directing shoots to bring each story to life. I also handled content strategy and publishing in the website’s CMS, built out a weekly newspaper print module, and oversaw the design and production of a quarterly print edition. Beyond editorial work, I created marketing materials, managed social content, and wrote/edited copy. I also consulted on the design and development of a companion e-newsletter and revamped the Shopify store’s user experience to better align visuals with brand guidelines.
This role blended big-picture creative direction with hands-on design, editorial, and content creation. It was fast-paced, multi-channel, and full of storytelling — exactly the kind of work that lights me up. These are samples of the types of content produced. View more at feastandfield.net.
