

Originally developed by Milepost in partnership with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the Monster Detective Collective is an off-the-shelf educational program that makes learning about energy fun and accessible for elementary-aged children and their families. Through bold illustrations, engaging animations, and interactive storytelling, six colorful “Monster Detectives” guide kids through everyday spaces, revealing how energy is made and delivered to their homes.
The program’s innovative approach uses PowerPoint as the design platform — a cost-effective, accessible solution that allows facilitators to deliver engaging educational experiences without specialized software or technical expertise. I assisted in developing the original interactive presentation before later re-engineering it into a fully produced video experience, complete with music, voiceover, and sound effects.
I also helped expand and evolve the brand’s look and feel through new assets including social media graphics, email campaigns, digital ads, and print collateral, and designed and developed the program’s website in HubSpot. Additionally, I supported webinars promoting the program through event graphics and marketing materials.
