About This Project

The eclipse was coming, and we were ready. Planning this feature much in advance of the celestial event, I enlisted Wilkinson Brothers, Inc. to work with me on illustrations. I had the idea of creating a cover inspired by vintage travel posters inviting readers to our local area close to the path of totality. I worked supplemental illustrations into the editorial design for a cohesive look. After publication we produced commemorative posters of the cover design that were sold at the museum, our offices, and online.
